Night terrors

As a bit of background I have BPD, PTSD, anxiety, and depression. I woke up not too long ago from a terrible night terror... It almost triggered a PTSD episode and I just moved to this state a few months ago so I don't have anyone to call if that were to happen so I contacted my ex who helped me calm down, but it scared me because what do I do when that happens after my little girl is born. I was absolutely terrified. I haven't had an episode in months and I'll be a first time mom. Any advice would be helpful. I've been doing my best to work on my mental health but sometimes I have no control over how intense my PTSD can be. I ate something, decided to watch TV, and I'm hoping I can go back to sleep but I almost seriously doubt it. I wish I didn't have this and need some reassurance or at least some ideas with how to deal with it. I'm due November 30th and I know I'll be a great mom but my diagnosis scare me sometimes.

Hi I have anxiety , ptsd and depression and I always freak out time to time to my ptsd it’s actually scary I wish I can block it off is like I can’t be alone anywhere without feeling too anxious… I’m here if u need to talk!

@Emily 🌸 thank you Emily for understanding

Hey sunshine! I also have anxiety, ADHD, MDD, and CPTSD. I have 4 beautiful children and my oldest just turned 18 and heading into the medical field. All this to say… we’re here for you. I’ve found even reaching out to strangers when you’re going through something can be extremely helpful. I mean, look at you now! You’re already reaching out to help build a team of mama’s that can be here to support you. You’re planning to protect your child so that you’ll have support to be the best mom you can! It’s tough and I know it personally. My inbox is open if you want to chat, but keep building that team of people and don’t listen if you tell yourself you’re a burden (I use to tell myself that). You’re not!!! There’s soooo many mama’s that understand! More than you know and this is a great place to start!

@Natalie thank you 🥹 That genuinely made me feel a lot better.

I’m so glad to hear it and please don’t hesitate to reach out! We mean it!
