Okay so iron is extremely important not just for you but baby too, I seem to be chronically anaemic as every time I have a blood test my iron stores seem to always drop. I’m currently at 11/30-300. I’m currently on ferrous gluconate but tablet form of course. They should be giving you 2x300mg tablets daily, if you struggle with tablets then liquid form. I would personally be pushing that x

@Liene they started my on tablets ages ago but my iron dropped drastically since taking them so they havnt recommended anything else

I'm taking spatone and buy the apple flavour one and it's easy to take! Avoid having it around tea or coffee as it affects absorption. I'm vegetarian so have been conscious of increasing my intake through diet as well so some easy things I do is add pumpkin seeds to my smoothies in the morning and always have spinach or green veg with lunch or dinner 🙂

My iron is gradually dropping. Consultant already said if @ 28wks my iron has dropped again, iron infusion awaits! I’ve been taking Feraglobin (liquid) to try & boost it. So fingers crossed @ next test, all is ok.

@Giorga how strange? I’d deffo get on the phone to them and ask them what the hell is going on?
