Every private I've gone to (from when they've been able to tell the gender) they've asked me do I want to know the gender before saying anything. You can always say to them before they start you don't want to know

I had a private scan with Imaginatal and they asked me if I wanted to know gender. You can say no and they’ll just refer to baby as that not he and she.
