Do your LOs always cry when waking from a nap/sleep?

FTM so maybe I’m being a bit naive but I’ve seen on social media and ads etc where babies wake up from their naps without crying, like they’re happy and calm and refreshed. No matter whether I go and wake my son up or whether he wakes up himself from daytime naps or nighttime sleep, he’ll always always cry and be very grumpy for a good 15-20 mins before he cheers up slightly. It doesn’t really bother me but just wanted to see what other babies are like 😆

The one time my boy woke up smiling I quickly saw he had pood all over his crib hahaha

My LO often looks surprised like she doesn't know where she is, takes her a few moments to recalibrate!

Mine usually wakes up crying too!

No, mine is often smiley when she wakes up. Sometimes when she cries I can tell she is still sleepy so I put her back to sleep, or sometimes hungry so I feed her. But never cries a lot.

Most of the time mine cries but I have noticed, if I have the energy, if I get super excited with my voice and facial expressions he will smile but I have to keep it up for nappy change until he’s fed and then he’s fine 😂

Mine cries during daytime naps if woken (when it's been around 2 hours) but in the morning he's super smiley 🙂

Mine wakes up smiling during the day, grizzly at night xx

Mine cries because he’s always hungry when he wakes up (he’s a glutton) and he’s happy again once he’s got his bottle 🤣

Mine usually cries, occasionally in the morning she has woken happy maybe like twice 🤣
