Failed driving test AGAIN

Feeling so deflated 😭😩 I failed my driving test for the 3rd time today! The first test I knew I failed anyway. The second I was shocked I failed but apparently missed a stop sign which is fair enough for failing me. Then, today, I failed for not checking my mirrors enough but he said it was a “perfect drive”. I knew I was checking my mirrors I made sure!! He also asked me to do a parallel park but worded it as “pull up on the left next to the car” I took that as going next to the car to do the parallel park but he wanted me to go behind the car and then pull out to continue the park. (I do this with the instructor) so I was confused when he said it in that wording!! He should have said “I’m going to ask you to do a parallel park can you pull behind that car”!! Anyways, a car behind me didn’t know what I was doing as I was half way to do the parallel park. The examiner then told me not to continue it as the car was right behind me at this point and the car behind didn’t know what I was doing so I failed! I am sooooo annoyed all because he worded it wrong to me!! As far as my mirrors I knew I was checking them!! I needed to pass to move out with my baby as I still live at home and the dog my mams partner got keeps going for the baby so I REALLY needed to pass😭 now, I’m stuck in the same situation! I can’t get back and forth to work if I move out and now I just don’t even know if to carry on at this point as I keep failing, as every test I do I fail on something different! I genuinely just give up like! 😭 (Sorry for the long post I needed a rant!!)😩

Sorry to hear. I could imagine failing too many times. For me, I’m only on trying to pass my theory test and I have failed 8times. I’m thinking of redoing it again but I’m not sure. But for you I say, why don’t you do some refresher lessons just to undo those mistakes and try not to put pressure on yourself as it just makes it harder to do. To get where you are, you have to keep trying again until you get it. It is hard, but you will definitely get there. Just hang in there & give it time. Don’t give up & best of luck for next time. 🙂💕

Keep trying!! The one piece of advice I was given that I swear by as I passed first time. Was to book your test around 11:00am if you can everyone will be at work so the roads are a lot quieter and it’s not the lunchtime rush. The examiners are more grumpy in the afternoon so this is the best time to book. Don’t give up though just always do it as your instructor has told you and you can’t go wrong x

don’t give up girl! and take some driving courses too if offered in your city so you’ll know exactly what to do when you retake it again and you won’t feel so nervous behind the wheel🥰

Don’t give up!!! Keep trying , you will surely get it soon. Just make you take the Instrustor comments on board. Book your test around the time that is not busy! That’s what I did & got it on my 2nd try. Good luck

I struggled too, I ended up learning in an automatic car and passed my automatic test on the first attempt after failing 2 manual test x

Are you taking the test at the same place? If so, stop and go somewhere else.

@Brittany yeah the same place! It’s the only place I feel confident taking my test but it’s just getting to me as I really needed to move out and unfortunately I can’t yet now 😩x

It’s just so annoying as he said it was a perfect drive but I didn’t check my mirrors but I know I was checking them as the instructor kept onto me before I took my test to make sure I do them! I don’t know I just feel so deflated ☹️x

I think you should consider looking elsewhere or at least telling them that you’re considering it. Especially if you had a perfect drive, not checking mirrors should’ve been a conversation, not a failing point

@Brittany that’s what I mean! But apparently I barely did them and that’s an instant fail! I was like huh??? I literally was doing them! If I didn’t there’s a huge chance I would of crashed 😬 so annoyed like x

For mirrors I was always told make an obvious head movement rather than just move your eyes. That way they can’t deny you checked them. X
