Co-sleeping
I’m a single mum with a 3 year old daughter! She’s never been a great sleeper but when my ex and I split up at the start of the year she started sleeping with me - it was a very hard time for us all and I think she was seeing my bed with me as her safe space. I just wondered if anyone has had their child in with them and when if kinda starts to be their choice to wanting to sleep in their own bed. Thank you

I have a 3yr old son that sleeps in my bed. He feels safer sleeping beside me that in his own bed.
We’ve got our little girl in a double in her own room. Sometimes she wakes and wants her dad (I’m with the baby) in with her. Sometimes she sleeps through the night. She’s cuddled to sleep initially. We thought it might help the double being in her room rather than her coming to our bed

My daughter who is 3, slept in a next to me cot and then when old enough came to my bed. I got her in her own bed about 6 months ago by getting her excited about buying a grown up bed. When she wakes up in the night tho still comes to my bed, said she feels safe with me. She has never been a good sleeper either, rarely sleeps through x
