Cost of private skin prick allergy test
Has anyone paid for private allergy testing who would be happy to share how much it cost?
The NHS waiting list in my area means she won't be seen until June at the earliest.
She was diagnosed with cmpa but even after eliminating dairy we've not been able to get her symptoms under control so I think she might be allergic to something else.

@Caroline that's so helpful, thank you. I had a quick Google and an influencer had recommended one which cost £500 just to test nuts and I couldn't believe it! Was the process okay too? I'm wondering if she'll sit still for it?! Did they do it on his arms? Thanks for your help.

Sorry to jump on this, but where would you go for allergy testing?
We went to a gut specialist. It’s called paediatric gut clinic. Near Gatwick. They did a prick on me as was really worried and didn’t feel a thing my daughter tolerated all 14 really well and it showed positive for milk and dog. Can’t rememeber price as was done privately around £100 I think
We got it covered through private insurance we have at work. But I think it was a couple of hundred pounds. Totally worth it! My youngest was similar and I was sure he also had a soy allergy but he didn't. We just needed to be hotter on the steroid cream to get the eczema under control and since then he's been fine as long as he has no dairy.
