Is it normal?

My 7months old is so independent and not as clingy as I thought she would be. she smiles and laughs when I pick her up but doesn’t ever cry when I put her down to be on her own, she is happy to be playing with her toys alone and doesn’t cry to be held, I could leave her with a stranger and she would be just as happy with them as she is with me. She sees only me and her dad daily so I expect her to be clingy cos I was as a kid but she’s the opposite. I know some will say I am lucky but I sometimes wish she showed me some clinginess and make me feel special lol

My little one is the same. Happy as Larry regardless of who is holding her and happy to sit on her own. Only time she cries for me is when she’s hungry and I have the milky boobs 😂😂😂 But I just try to remember that we are all different and these are little human beings we are raising. You and I may have been clingy as children but our children aren’t us and may not be clingy at all. I just try to remember that and not let it get to me. She’s my first child too so I know no different anyway. If she ever is a Velcro baby it’s just for my boobs 😂

My little boy was the same! The clinginess comes eventually🤣 he’s 10 months on Sunday and oh my god the clinginess is next level honestly! I put him down he screams like I have just hurt him I leave the room and leave him with someone he cries and cries to the point he is actually sick sometimes🙂 won’t go to sleep unless I’m sat there holding his hand cherish the independence while you still have it🤣🤣
