Can we talk about weaponized incompetence?

Anyone else have a husband/partner who always needs you to explain everything or does a poor job when it comes to cleaning/helping around the house?? my husband swears he’s self aware but still does these things smh.

Omg yes. We keep the toilet paper in the bathroom under the cabinet and my boyfriend yells “babe is there anymore toilet paper in here” -______- I’m changing the baby I’m like “you’re literally in there.. LOOK AND SEE WTF” 🤣🤣 one example

@Mya i asked my husband to dress our baby for the first time (6 months old btw) and he asked what should i put her in???? i was like dude something weather appropriate and nice for a walk and he pulled out the most diabolical outfit in the world totally not weather appropriate and i just looked at him like really??? god i have hundreds of these stories.. idk why they are like this

Following cuz same 🤦🏻‍♀️ literally both examples are common in my house and so much more too xx

No more chore lists. They can walk around the house themselves and figure out what needs to be done. So done with baby men It’s so unattractive

My boyfriend is like this, I don’t think his is weaponised incompetence I think his is just incompetence. It’s got to the point where I literally can’t stand him and think I’m gonna break up with him, not just because of this but this is a main factor

@Emily you know it’s bad when they’re asking for directions on how to make a BAKED frozen lasagna…. WHY THE FUCK IS IT IN THE MICROWAVE BRO🤣🤣😭

@Sapphire the worst is when they do things and it’s done poorly then you have to do it over like the dishes… why are you a literal child like what the heck 🙄

I'm only required to raise one kid. Not a grown adult. I don't mind letting someone look stupid, when they should know as much as I do about what they should be doing already.🤷🏽‍♀️
