Partner won’t hold the baby?
Anyone having the same situation?
Shes 18 days old and been held 4 times maybe, when I ask him to there is always “ I just need the loo” or “ just need to do this and that” then he hopes I’ve forgotten , when he did hold her and she’d cry he would hand her back and say oh she’s hungry you decided to breast feed and not help with anything else!!
Also have a toddler so him sitting doing sod all while I’m managing 2 kids is hard work!!!

What does he say, if you ask him why he isn't holding her? Was he like that with your toddler to when a baby and does he not do anything now with the toddler either?

@Rhiannon he just says his busy or she only wants me to feed off … and he was being more hands on with toddler but it’s faded to just me doing everything at the moment x
My son is almost 2 and yesterday my partner confessed that he was terrified ,scared and panic about our newborn 😅 bless him he never shows I was so calm because I see how confident he was taking care of baby . So maybe that's why.
Could he be nervous? Did he hold the toddler when he was a baby?
