Also those are JUST guidelines and every baby is different
I don’t track my girl’s milestones compared to others, she just rolled front to back for the first time yesterday, meanwhile she’s been laughing since like 2 months! Every baby is so different. Don’t stress.
Girl my baby doesn't even attempt to crawl yet and is not very stable sitting up either lol. They advance at their own pace. Today she just learned to go from tummy to back (she's been rolling from back to tummy just not the other way). So I would not really worry just keep working with her ! The sleeping thing, she's probably just learning a new skill or going through regression. My lo has been doing that for a couple weeks now. A couple days she will be fine then she will not have very good naps and just be a complete monster all day 😅
@Ryann The pediatrician was the one who got me worried. She was like oh she should be crawling backwards and rolling both directions and fly to the moon and back 😫 and I felt shattered and worthless as a mother. I've seen others being at different levels and every baby has an individual pace. But it's nice to see I'm not alone and they're just throwing comments at me Thank you🤗💕
@Magnolia ugh I’m sorry! It is so frustrating when people put pressure like that. Every baby is so unique and your sweet girl will do things when she is ready. ☺️ next time they ask I would mention or even ask isn’t this a *whatever usual time frame* skill? Hopefully that will shut them right up! 💕☺️
@Magnolia personally I would switch pediatricians, that’s so much extra and unnecessary stress! It’s totally normal for them to not be crawling yet! All babies are different!
@Ryann @Jordan Thank you ladies! I should switch pediatricians! 💞💖
No! Babies don’t typically start commando crawling until 6-9 and actually crawling 7-12. Sitting unassisted is closer to 7-8 months. If you are worried you can always reach out to your pediatrician. For practicing sitting I like to sit with my legs in a triangle and have my son in front of me so I can guide him if he topples but it helps him strengthen his core without relying on me if that makes sense
