I would stop the 5pm nap, either bring the nap forward so 12-2, and then bedtime for 6-7pm.

@Emily how do i go about this please?

Just like above, let him have his nap at 12 then do bed time 6-7pm :)

Instead of letting him nap at 11am, just bring nap time later. Rather than going straight to 12pm, maybe do 11:15/11:30 for a few days, and then stretch him to 12pm. He’ll be tired, and it’ll be hard but it’ll mean you get your evenings back.

I would cap the first nap at 45 mins and make the 2nd nap earlier if he’s not ready to drop to one nap which is unlikely at 10 months

I think at 10 months I would keep both naps but try to bring the first one earlier so that the second one is earlier as well. This should make bedtime a bit easier for you. At that age mine used to nap for an hour about 3 hours after waking for the day, then a 45 minute nap after another 3.5-4 hour wake window. It sounds like that first nap of the day is a bit too long because he’s not getting enough nighttime sleep.

Sorry not related to your actual question but wdym by tea?? Is he having tea? Like the tea we have😵😵 I am confused

@Shriya it's like a small snack time before dinner

@Shriya tea in the uk is like dinner or last meal before bed

@Amy i just dont know how to bring a nap forward he wont sleep at all unless hes tired and he can be awake 4 hours before bed but he wonr stay asleep ill feed him and bottle hit he still wakes up at 10/10:30 could you advise me how to bring it forward ? please

I think I’d try waking him 15 mins earlier in the morning and then also starting the nap time routine 15 mins earlier than usual to try to gradually bring that first nap forward.
