I didn’t go as far as Tokyo but I went to turkey while pregnant with my twins. I was 24/25 weeks and I was absolutely fine. For a long flight I’d advise flight socks and walking around as much as possible to reduce the risk of blood clots. Try to get an aisle seat so you can get to the toilet easy. Drink plenty of water. I used to be cabin crew and you don’t realise how dehydrated you get on a flight until after wards. Best time to use the toilet is during the meal service while everyone’s sat down. Take a fan and a blanket planes are always either too hot or too cold lol. I mostly used my blanket to roll up and put behind my back. Your feet may swell so wear something comfy but practical I wore crocs. You’ll be absolutely fine people travel pregnant all the time I did it twice. Hope you have lovely holiday xx
I flew up until 32 weeks on various flights and it was fine. Compression socks, water, walk around a bit, do circles with your ankles whenever you remember
We went to Seychelles 26/28 weeks and the things I took were: -Fan -compression socks - refillable water bottle - Your notes - note from midwife to confirm my pregnancy was progressing well (emirates are VERY strict on this as I looked further on than I was so was asked for this multiple times) - Depending on which cabin you fly in will make a difference to your comfort, I saw someone post on here before that you can fold up an empty pillow case in your bag then but your cardigan/hoodie etc in it so you have a better pillow than the ones they would offer in economy Hope you enjoy your trip ✈️✈️
I flew to Barbados at 18 weeks and obvs 20 weeks on the way back. Get some compression socks and make sure you get up for a walk every hour. Ohh and drink plenty of fluids and bring snacks. Xx
