Can be a side effect of vaccinations if she has had those x
It is normal. So my firstborn had swollen lymph nodes and babies' skin and muscles are very thin so they show more usually after they've had a cough or infection. They come and go. After 2 years my son's lymph nodes wouldn't go down so they sent him for a biopsy just to rule anything sinister out. They just took a sample after making an incision in his neck. It's not been an issue since he's 3 now.
@Fatima so did it just go away?
@Lenka yes it did but only just when he was about 2 and a half. Up until then they kept coming and going. What I'd advise is if they keep swelling and bulging go back to the GP and ask for a referral to get a biopsy to rule out anything and then you can rest easy
@Fatima my LO had one when he was 2 weeks old and that one disappeared, but he has got another one since he was 7 weeks old and it’s still there. He is 17 weeks now.We have seen several GP’s and they all said it’s normal. We also had an ultrasound, which came back normal, so I was just wondering whether it will eventually disappear? Thanks you for the reply x
@Lenka no problem at all
I had a swollen lymph node in my neck as a child until I was 9 or 10, then it just went away!
