Early scan question

I had one at 6 weeks and one at 8 weeks both were internal xx

I think before either 8 or 10 weeks they do it internally. I would recommend going after 7 weeks x

I had one at 6+6 and it was an abdominal scan, they saw everything they needed to and there was a strong heartbeat, I’d recommend closer to 9 weeks though as it’s a lot more clear and they look like a baby at that age whereas when it’s so early they’re basically a blob with nothing distinguishable 😅

Just had one today. 8w3 and was on my tummy

I went at 7+3 but turned out I was actually just 7 weeks. She did a normal ultrasound and found it pretty much straightaway. But I think it depends on which company you go with e.g. I’m sure window to the womb start with internal if you’re under 10 weeks x

I had one when I thought I was 7+3 and measured 6+3 and it was an abdo scan. Then I had one today where I thought I was 9+3 and was actually 9+6 which was also abdominal :) x

I had one at 8+3! Even though I thought I was 7 weeks. I got to see heartbeat and baby! And was an internal scan! Was so worth it especially for reassurance ♥️ (window to the womb are fab!!)
