Thank you. I was induced with my first so idk if I should be worried
I feel like I’ve had both? I can’t tell if I’m having some painless ones or if that’s just the baby moving, but my belly will get hard
Mine have all been painful- like some times I can’t even move at all - & they last a while but maybe I’m not noticing when they aren’t painful?
And it’s really annoying because I mostly only get them at the very end of the day when I’m trying to sleep or when go for a walk at night to reduce swelling in my legs and just get some fresh air- For me, the pelvic girdle pain is worse bc that is constant almost & ivermectin had to really alter how I move & basically stop 90% of exercise I usually do bc of how sharp that pain is
I havent really had any. Just lightning crotch really bad and that hurts sooooo bad
I was induced with my first as well!! So now here I am wondering what labor will feel or be like naturally this time and when is the “okay this is it!” Moment 😅
Can someone explain to me how to know if you’re having Braxton Hicks? I never had it with my first…I don’t think.
@Paige I think the way to tell the diff is if your whole belly gets hard, it’s a Braxton Hicks
@Lesya it usually feel like baby is trying to push out of my belly and my whole belly gets hard, not just one part of it like when baby is moving
You mean like pressure is down ? Cause I’ve gotten those too a few times when my whole pelvis is cramping and the pressure on whole pelvic floor is insane like his head is trying to get out of canal already (he’s been head down ready to do for a while now) but the ones I get most of the time the pain is concentrated to a certain side & I’ve heard from midwives & ob that’s part of what distinguishes braxton hicks from real contractions that they aren’t all over in union
My stomach will get like you’re describing sometimes but it’s no where near as painful just kind of uncomfortable like gas or something & honestly I thought that’s what it was 🫣until I saw this post about that being braxton hicks bc I had thought until then that the cramping contractions I’ve been getting for. A while was that — when I asked they said it was that
Could be either. I've had painless ones and then painful ones. I find they hurt when I've been more active, versus if I was laying down all day
