Me too!š I have it right now and I also had it in second trimester. All I can say is try not to worry, rest up, and get lots of fluids. It hits us all differently so just take it slow and don't push before you feel ready. Rest up mama, you've got this xxx
I had it at 32 weeksā¦ I was super worried and went to triage, midwives said it wonāt cross the placenta so thatās good! All you can do is rest and keep your temperature down with paracetamol I felt much better after around a week :)
Iāve had it twice in this pregnancy! Lots of fluids, sleep when you can, a dehumidifier really helped me to sleep at night!
I had it at 27/28 weeks, was fine after 6 days with the help of paracetamol and sleep. If youāre ever concerned, speak to triage/your midwife
I had it in my first pregnancy at 32 weeks. My midwife wasnāt concerned. Just had to try and keep drinking plenty of fluids and try to rest x
Thanks all! Have defo made me feel a lot better about having it! Iād managed to be one of the very lucky ones escaping an official Covid positive test! So knew it had to get me eventually! But defo will rest up and drink as much fluids as possible!! š
Yes I had covid 2 weeks ago (33 weeks pregnant) and I googled it and I worried but I just felt even more exhausted and drained! Plenty of rest and fluids x
Not quite what you asked but I got Covid from the hospital after I gave birth to my first son. I think he had it too as he was a bit snotty but he was absolutely fine! The positive is you might transfer some antibodies to your baby during this so try to see it as extra protection for them. Keep an eye on babies movements and call triage if concerned. Rest and fluids x
I had it at 9 weeks pregnant and again at 34 weeks pregnant, took me 2 weeks each time to get over it as paracetamol didn't do much for me. I used snufflebabe saline nasal spray which helped (safe in pregnancy) , Vicks and lots of hot and cold drinks, ice lollies etc. It was knackering and I felt awful, took 2 weeks off work to just rest and recover. Hope you're not feeling too bad! But baby is all healthy, still very active during COVID and I am hoping it may give her some antibodies, and also means I am avoiding the COVID jab as I should have some natural immunity so less jabs is always a plus
I just tested positive! Hope you are feeling OK xx
@Marnie oh no! Sorry to hear youāve got it too! Hope youāre feeling much better than me today has been awful but hoping tomorrow will be much better! š¤š¼š¤š¼
Pretty sure I had it about 2 weeks ago (didn't have any tests, but I know people who had it) and all is well!!! Just rest up and drink plenty of fluids, as you would for any cold š x
