I am a FTM and I have just put a single manual pump on mine that is around £20. That way, if I don't end up being able to pump or breastfeed, it's not too much of a waste, and if I do, I can invest in a better one myself x

My daughter is now 2 and I breastfed her for about 6 months. I think the advice guven above is great. Most of the time you really don’t have time to use the pump as you just feed the baby with your breast. My friend gifted me a breast pump but it broke down quite quickly and I bought the £20 breast pump and it was great. Better to put other gifts on the registry if you plan to breastfeed. My friend insisted on getting Elvie which is sooo expensive, and her daughter never wanted to drink from the bottle so that was a waste of money for her

Thank you ladies!
