Same here!! I’m wondering how y’all know. My midwife measures my belly but that’s about it 😅
Most OBs will measure your fundal height to make sure you’re on track and they can feel the head through your stomach. Myself (due to multiple medical reasons and being high risk) have to get growth ultrasounds. But even those aren’t always accurate
My ultrasound tech and OB told me she was head down she’s been head down since 32 weeks
@Natalia this is exactly how my appointments go!
@Paige I did ask for an ultrasound at my appointment last week (32weeks) becuase I was feeling my baby kick in weird places. She was able to tell me she is down facing, and where her back was. But I’m still confused how others get more info 😂
My OB said she will check these at my 36 week appointment via ultrasound
At 30 weeks on the dot he was head down, my midwife could feel him. Then I went in for a growth scan 5 days later and he was breech 😅
Where are you feeling kicks? The only way they ‘measure’ size is bump measurements which are so so inaccurate so pointless IMO. You can have scans to check growth but again, they’re not accurate.
I did a 4D optional ultrasound and they couldn’t tell me height but they told me he was measuring a week ahead at the time, and gave me a lb and oz. I messaged my normal OB saying I was worried about baby’s size bc my bump seemed smaller than other people’s at the same weeks as me. She messaged me back saying baby was 56thbpercentile (this was back after the 20 wk anatomy scan) So my advice is just ask them either when you see them next or send them a message on their patient portal platform if they have that!
I’m 35 weeks 5 days, last week he was in position and facing back. He was about 4.14 oz at about 32 weeks
My baby is traverse the doc was able to tell by feeling my belly.
My midwife tells me at my appointments. Idk about size but I know everything’s measuring right
