I have never actually tried it but I’ve heard that it works well
If the items are plain white then try soaking them in a Milton solution for about half an hour and then wash them as normal and hang to dry in the sunshine.
Dish soap! Preferably fairy green soap! If you're not from the UK then I can only assume dawn dish soap? Xx
White vinegar mixed with water in a spray bottle. Spray it on before washing.
Soak in a bucket of napisan for a few hours before machine washing. Second hanging clothes out in the sun too!
Wash the stain in the sink asap with dish soap. I then stick it outside in the sun for the rest of the day, then I put it in the wash. Even on a miserable day, it will bleach the stain (I even think it works better if it’s raining). If there’s still a stain after the wash, I stick it back outside.
Napisan works for us
@Brianna this works AMAZINGLY! Although my last baby was a summer baby in a heatwave. Not sure the winter sun will have the same affect. Plus might be too damp Outside but worth a go
Dish soap, comes out so well
Deal with it as soon as it happens, vanish or washing up liquid work well. I scrub it with the plastic bobbly thing that use to come on the persil detergent. Then throw it in the machine with some napisan added.
Fairy liquid is all you need. Use cool or lukewarm water to soak the clothes (you can leave them soaking if you can’t get to sort the stain right away). Apply fairy liquid direct to the stain and work it in with your fingers. Rinse and repeat until the worst of the stain is gone then just wash in the machine on a normal cycle. I have gotten the hugest worst poo stains out of plain white clothes this way.
Any dish soap, few drops on stains and wash on 90 degrees
Wash and dry in the sun! Works like a charm!
Oxyclean! If that doesn’t work and you’re the clothes are white, I add bleach to the load and wash on hot. Never put anything in the dryer until it’s fully clean. Dryer will just bake the stains.

I spray with elbow grease before putting them in the wash (£1 form b&m). It still works on all stains now at 10 months and find it can be easier for the times I take them off and put down without getting straight to washing them
Sunlight! All of our poo and food stains have come out simply by being in the sun.
I saw online that you can wash them and set them outside in the sun to dry evidently the sun will bleach clothes back to white without having to use bleach
