Breastfeeding helppp please!!🙏🏼

My LO is 7 weeks and I am doing mixed feeding as my milk supply is low. I do have the momcozy pump but not really a fan of it and rather prefer the baby to latch on. My breakfast is 2 organic boiled eggs, oats with almond milk, walnuts & cashew nuts with flax& chia seeds. For 7 weeks + for my lunch and dinner I have been having postpartum Organic chicken soup with ginger, fenugreek seeds & carom seeds, rice & spinach with a different meal on a Saturday only. I do drink 3L + water as well in a day. Will it affect me not breastfeeding at night as I give bottles for at least 2-3 feeds since my hubby covers me so I can get some sleep, wake up & have breakfast & start the day shift. Any advice on more milk supply please? Thank you😘

First thing that springs to my mind is having more calories and pump every 2 hours even if you only get a little and drink lots of fluids

Breast milk is more supply and demand rather than what you eat. The more often your body is told to make the milk the more it will do. Try lots of skin to skin with baby and put baby to the breast more often than you currently are. Maybe look at power pumping if wanting to get supply up a bit faster Make sure you are drinking plenty of water too

As above, it’s supply and demand, you have to remove more milk to signal your body to make more, your diet isn’t really relevant. What makes you think your supply isn’t enough and you need to use formula?

When you say mixed feeding, what does that entail? You should ensure you start breast first for every feed. I’m having the lactation cookies and the breastmilk tea too.

You do not need to eat more just make baby latch or pump as often as you can . This releases oxytocin which increases milk supply. Also stay hydrated x

Skin to skin Drink minimum 4l of water Pump 8 times per 24hrs I get 8 oz per expression

Drink more water. Lots of skin to skin. Just latch, latch, latch. Try not to top up with formula as then baby won't be demanding your body to make the extra supply... Try not to stress about it. Have you been to GP to talk about your concerns? I got discharged from hospital with a really low HR after birth which I didn't know about so my body wasn't making milk because of that. I also had a thyroid issue which although "sub-clinical" they still medicate if pregnant or breastfeeding as it has an impact on milk production. Worth ruling out perhaps.xx
