Owlet sock question

Hi all! As I’m a paranoid mum I’ve been considering getting the owlet sock for our baby, but does it work if my baby has a sleep suit with feet? I’m split between the owlet sock or the snuza hero monitor, any thoughts?

I use the snuza hero alarm and I really like it! Makes me feel so much better on a night, plus it is cheaper.

Yes it does! I have one too and it works with sleepsuit. Bearing in mind it doesn't fit on a newborn! They're a month old when it starts to fit ok and even then it's still big! I use mine with a sock and then sleepsuit and it works just fine!

We use the babysense sleeping pad, which just goes under the matress so not touching baby at all. You can also get the package with baby monitors which I've found are really good quality and not reliant on WiFi.

We have the owlet and used it since my baby girl was a newborn!! I love it and would recommend it to anyone who is fortunate enough to afford it. It gives me so much peace of mind! It’s also helped with other things like transferring to crib etc as I know from her heart rate when she’s in a deep sleep. It also analyses their sleep and gives you a good idea of their sleep cycles etc! X

I used Owlet from newborn and my baby was 6lbs 2 and worked fine! No problems with a sleep suit either and he doesn’t notice it, gives me such peace of mind!

@Chloe oh I haven’t heard of this, will check it out! Have you had any false alarms?

@Kristin no, we haven't, it's really sensitive! even when she doesn't stir all night (she sleeps through from 10pm to 7am) it's still picking her up. We test it every night before we put her to bed (as that's what the instructions tell you to do) and so far so good (she's nearly 13 weeks now for reference). It has a green light that flashes on it, showing that its picking up her breathing/movements. We've even used it on her travel cot when she's stayed at my parents.
