Postpartum Weight Loss

I know I shouldn't be worrying about this but I feel so fat right now and want to get it off. I'm 7 weeks postpartum and am carrying a lot of extra weight around my midsection, thighs and everywhere really. I'm EBF my boy and its honestly hard to get off the couch as he wants to be feeding very often. I hear of people saying they just walked so much and lost loads of weight but I can't seem to get out the house! Am I expecting too much too soon or does anyone have any tips or diet/exercise programs to recommend for losing postpartum weight?

I walk 30mins during weekday to take my daughter to nursery but it’s not fast paced and still haven’t lost any weight in 7 weeks. Baby is 8 weeks tomorrow. It’s horrible as my belly is still very big and also my thighs and hips.

I’m 5 weeks post partum and have lost all my weight but I’m on the go all the time. Our daughter naps best in the carrier so I breastfeed her and then go out for a couple of hours. If you’re happy to feed her in public, then it’s really easy because you can find a cafe or park bench etc. feed and carry on. But at 7 weeks, it’s still so soon and there’s really no rush. Just try go with it - I’m sure you’ll be up and about more in a few weeks

I think everyone is different. Some people lose it without even trying, I've heard some people don't lose it until they stop breastfeeding. Hormones affect us all differently, go easy on yourself x

Walking every day for one long nap in the carrier or pram has helped me be active after birth and start to feel like my old body again!

Yupp, just strap her in a carrier and walk, EVERYWHERE lol But yes 7 weeks is still very early and I know it's easier said than done but go easy on yourself especially if your already eating healthy and being active
