Transitioning to pushchair

Has anyone started using their stroller rather than the carry cot? My little girl is only 13.5 weeks but she’s starting to absolutely hate laying down in her pram. She will scream and cry and try to pull herself up into a seating position to see what is going on around her (obviously she can’t sit up properly yet so this just frustrates her further). I think putting her in a push chair where she can be more upright would be really beneficial but I’m just worried she is far too young yet. Just looking for some opinions!

I'd try it on a short walk and see if it works. We tried ours at about 13 weeks but he was too small for the straps so it wasn't comfortable. We're going to try again in a week or two!

I moved my LO over at about 13 weeks and she was fine. Exactly the same wanting to look around when out on walks. Alot of people say it's a no go but as long as you can lay LO back when they sleep I would say go for it.

It’s better for their spine to remain on a flat surface until 6ish months and also parent facing as this can help with speech development since you will talk to them while walking (and they can see your mouth moving etc) With my oldest we changed him to the pushchair part at around 4.5 months but had it permanently flat (ours was sold as a from birth pram since it was completely flat) until he was just over 6 months and also had it parent facing until he was 18 months xx

My boys was both big babies so they went in the normal pram seat around 12 weeks x

I change my lb at 14 weeks. And he loves it now. He will actually sleep in it while we are out and when I get back will stay sleeping for another half hour. My pram says not to until 6 months but it has 4 settings on it, one being lay flat. So I use that and then one up from it. I have the Icandy peach 7

We moved over at 12 weeks as she hates being flat. That said she has vary good head control, can sit up with some assistance and ours lays flat for newborn. Plus we are watching her so can adjust if needed on our walks.

Started using pushchair at 9wks with a newborn insert Took the insert out a few weeks ago at about 11/12wks as was big enough. I have uppababy vista2 Can lay flat but mostly use the one up from that. He loves looking out and seeing things

I transferred when my little boy was 6 weeks old (recomended by infant feeding team) due to him choking on his dribble and his sick, it has done me and my partner wonders honestly. He sleeps better when we go out, he loves looking around and looking at lights. it also depends on if the pram bit has a infant strap shorteners(most prams do) x
