Items/gadgets for better sleep

I’m wondering if any of you can recommend any items that definitely have made a difference for your baby’s sleep. I have seen a few like the white noise ones, red light… my baby hates the swaddle, i’ve tried to swaddle her in the traditional way and now a love to dream swaddle, but she hates both. I am the same tbf I hate to be contained or restricted. I am particularly interested to see if anyone has an opinion on the Rockit zed car replication baby sleep aid.

Ewan the sheep. Delux one as responds if baby cries through the night. Love the shoosh and heartbeat noise. Sweet dreamers swaddles. Not as restrictive as arms at the side and can move to their belly.

@Nat thank you! I am considering the portable lumi instead of ewan because it has all the noises and light but not the plushy which I honestly can’t be bothered carrying around

I use the Nodiee night light. It connects to my phone so I can make up different profiles to control which colour light and sound base. I use the red light and lullaby for her last feed at night and the brown noise when it’s time to sleep and put her on her bassinet. Then when she wakes, I have a yellow light and morning song profile. I found it’s really helped☺️ you can buy them online too

@Ha adorable! Thank you

@Shannon amazing thank you so much, we only have a little red light atm but it’s hard to see anything with it

Yeah red light can be tricky! The Nodiee can turn the light up bright or low, so that’s a cool feature but I know what you mean, it can be challenging to see in a red light😅

The Zed just vibrates the Moses basket. I’ve honestly not seen it make much difference and I think it was a bit of a waste of money. The original Rockit is great. I pop it on his pram when we go out and he’ll happily snooze away while we eat our lunch in a restaurant. Ewan the Dream Sheep is amazing - the deluxe version comes with a sensor so he comes on if your baby stirs. I dunno about the baby, but I can’t sleep without it these days. 😂 And we have a red night light on our baby monitor. Not sure if that makes a difference but it makes it easier to move around the room in the dark.

@Sharon unfortunately my baby doesn’t like to sleep in the pram, not even when in motion 😭 the red light in my baby monitor is good but i struggle to see her face when trying to breastfeed which is a bit annoying

I tend to pop the bedside light on for his early morning feed. But then when it’s time to go back in the crib, I turn the light off, leave the red light on, put Ewan on, give him a cuddle and he normally drops off in an about five minutes.
