Car seats

My baby girl is 8 months old next week and she’s getting really agitated when getting in her car seat, am I able to move her to an outward facing bigger car seat or am I able to take the full inserts out of her existing car seat? She has the egg newborn seat and was wondering if I could take the head hugger out so there no padding extra in the seat? Thank youuu

15 months is the earliest you can do front facing but it’s safer to stay rear facing for much longer. We recently moved from a baby seat to a toddler one. We got Joie ispin 360 and it’s great

@Emma thank you! Can you keep them in there newborn seats until you swap them at 15 months but take all the inserts out so it’s completely empty? X

It's good to get a supportive extended rear facing seat. I'd highly recommend talking to Natalie who runs carseatninja.com she's fabulous and point you in the right direction xx

I guess it would depend on the seat, ours said up to 12 months but our LO grew out of it at 7
