i LOVE halloween but baby is 4 months & just fell asleep lol so i will be taking him when he’s older & i wanna do fun costumes w him!!!
Nope don’t celebrate it
I like Halloween but personally I don’t like the thought of going to someone house to ‘ask’ for sweets. I do everything else and will hand out sweets and when my son is older and he asks to then it might change my mind but for now there’s so many people having out horrible things instead of sweets so I just don’t like the thought but that’s just my own opinion. I’ve heard too many stories
Yup. We don’t go door to door on Halloween but we did trick or treating at the campground and we do trunk or treats.
No I don't want my kids knocking on random people doors
We did our first last night. We have a 6 and 4 year old. We went with a couple other families. It's not traditionally a big event here, but last night was positively hectic around our neighbourhood! Almost all houses ran out of goodies! Was actually really fun, and the kiddos had a great time!
Yes, it was a big part of my childhood and we take our kids. They have a blast.
We did trick or treating at school and a couple of Halloween events in our community. We didn’t go door to door this year. When we do trick or treat it’s to a few relatives and people we know well.
Yep we went last night. And to the shopping centre which holds a huge Halloween dance off for the kids w a stage, disco lights, cotton candy stands. He looks forward to T or T every year it’s a part of being a kid and making memories
No, we don’t celebrate it, also we spend time teaching children not to take from strangers, then take them knocking on random doors.. doesn’t make sense . Not everyone can be trusted.. if a random person offered your child a sweet , would you let them eat it?
We went for the first time this year & we are so excited for next year too (: last year my son was too young to walk so we stayed in & watched Halloween movies but this year was way more fun (:
We’re Christian and we felt like Hod was letting us know it wasn’t for us.
The houses near my MIL put on a Halloween trail with a map, so you’re only knocking on pre-approved houses.
We went for the first time this evening with my 4.5 year old. He really enjoyed it! Halloween wasn't part of my childhood and I'm not particularly into it but my son is going through a Nightmare Before Christmas phase so it kind of just aligned perfectly.
