I had it absolutely horribly during pregnancy, and it's gotten a lot better, but it still hasn't gone away, and I'm almost 10 months postpartum.
I did but it turned out to be gallstones and I ended up needing an endoscopy to get several removed. If you have a burning/pressure sensation at your diaphragm and the right side of our abdomen under your ribs hurts it’s not heartburn.
@Sarah 🎀 same!!! I totally thought my gallbladder attacks were heartburn until it became so unbearable and I got checked and my liver levels started to get extremely affected by the obstruction. I had to get my gallbladder removed and thank GODDD that I will never experience that horrible pain again ! @Kayla definitely get it checked out, a lot of post partum women deal with gallbladder related issues after giving birth. It’s better to be safe than sorry and get it checked out !
@Carolina @Sarah 🎀 oh good to know!!! Do yall think that would still affect me even though i had a c section? I only feel the pain in my throat and i ate a hot and spicy chicken ramen cup today and that triggered the heartburn reallllly bad 😩
Yes!! I has it the worst during my Third trimester. My chest would burn so bad. I drank ice cold water too (I craved it) and I don’t think that helped :/ but now, being almost 8 months PP it’s gone. Ask your OB or PCP if they can give you a med or recommend something (: maybe try warm tea ? Wishing the best mama 🥰
I got it all through my pregnancy and took medication for it. It’s an old wife tale that baby has hair and is a girl! It was right for me!
I still get it too if I miss a day of medicine for it then I'm like a dragon honestly nothing helps no natural remedies not even gavasgone
