Time for Pull Ups?

Any ideas on when it’s time to transition to pull ups from diapers (or if this is even necessary)? My two year old is potty training and does best at home when nude so she spends a lot of time running around nakey or in the thicker training panties, which do still leak a bit. She can independently take off her diaper, which has been a challenge during naps and bedtime because she has taken off her pajamas to remove her own soiled diaper and then made a mess in her bed (we’ve reminded her to just tell us if she went poop and that only grownups should change her diaper and that seems to have helped). Because accidents are inevitable we don’t let her on the furniture when she doesn’t have a diaper on but I worry the novelty of the comfy blankets forts we make on the floor is wearing off because she will ask for a diaper so she can sit on the couch and she is less likely to initiate potty when wearing a diaper.

I used pull ups way before starting potty training just because they were easier to use. Once we started potty training, we ditched any form of nappy completely during the day. Only used pull ups at night for 2 weeks and then nothing at all.
