Just re read the rest of thst message as I hadn't seen the part about not receiving payments before. I'd double check for spam at that rate my lovely just incase. That or they've cracked down on the new csa rules x
It’s definitely from child maintenance, it’s for my 12 digit number and asks me to login to child maintenance account to provide my details, or provide them to the paying parent.

Figured out what it is - phoned them and it turns out they had a glitch over the weekend that ended up with loads of unnecessary/incorrect emails being sent out
@Dreia I've seen updates saying they're cracking down on owed payments. My sons dad has spent two years doing what he wants regarding payments but in the recent weeks the CSA has been contacting his place of work and threatening warnings towards the business if they don't encourage him to pay.
@Rebecca slightly gutted you aren't being given a big I OU as I feel like you probably deserve one but I'm very glad it wasn't a scam :)

They may not register he's sent a payment and you've received it until its cleared their systems and then yours. Y sons dad skips every other payment or only does when he can be arse but when you recieve that text it usually means you will get the money in your bank in the following 3 working days and their system will update what's owed and been paid shortly after xx
