Hi everyone,
I’m looking for some advice for an extended rear facing car seat. My little boy is outgrowing his Joie 360 as he has long legs, he’s 20 months and 82cm and just looks a little squished.
We originally were looking at the axkid minikid 2 and the Axkid move but I’m looking for other suggestions really… can you help a momma out?
Thanks in advance 🤩

Whats his centiles?xx
Budget I’m not really worried about but if we can keep it around £400. He’s always been in the 90-95 the percentile for height and 80-90 for weight. He’s a tall toddler xx
@Jolie okay so not the axkid move or minikid 2 as that’s only to 25kg.
What car do you drive? Do you often have a passenger?x
Do you mean not to choose them as they won’t last very long due to his percentiles?
I’ve got a Range Rover evoque, usually have a passenger so need some legroom in the front as my partner is also tall 🙈 I’m 5ft 3 so makes no difference to me 😂 xx
There isn’t much space in the Evoque. You need the Minikid 4 or Movekid which are much more compact than the older versions so will give you all more legroom. You will still have growing room in the 360 but ideal time if you want to move him out sooner. Black Friday sales are starting on the newer Axkid’s.

@Jolie everything Emily said is perfect✨
You need a 125cm/36kg seat for his centiles xx
@Emily amazing thanks so much, the evoque is tiny in comparison to my old Tiguan. It’s a pain but I love the car.
I’ve also been looking at the besafe stretch but I think that may be a bit big and bulky?
Do you happen to know how the minikid compares with the axkid one? Thanks xx
@Jolie the Tiguan is good for space, I had a Range Rover Sport and that was even a problem with car seats! I had a stretch in that but it was so tight on the shortest leg room setting! Definitely a no for the Evoque 😔 I love the stretch.
The One2/3 are amazing. You’ll get more legroom with that, if you’re happy with the price, One2 is on sale at £500. My daughter has the One3 and has more legroom than her brother’s stretch.

@Jolie id stick with the minikid 4 or movekid x
Yes if he’s high centiles for weight you just want to check how long the One range would last him. It’s a 23kg weight limit ☺️. A 98th percentile boy would be 4years 8 months when they’d reach it.
I went with the movekid in the end, thanks so much for your help 🥰
