stainless steel is easiest to clean and does not absorbs smells, soaps, bacteria nor leaches plastics into food when placing hot food on it. just got to make sure in the reviews that it’s made with 304 18/8 stainless steel. i recently bought these for my 20m old plates : cons (no suction) https://a.co/d/gzuVr3X

bowl : cons : small compartments https://a.co/d/7GFk6Nd

cups: no cons just have to make sure they’re sealed properly before handing over. very durable and easy to clean. https://a.co/d/hbSG1sH

I would say bamboo , we do have some silicone ones but i’ve seen an article on someone’s child managing to get the bowl off the tray by sliding it so that it came unstuck and suctioned to their face which i imagine could be quite scary , i guess if you go ahead with silicone obviously keep a really close eye as normal x

Glass bowls with silicone cover

Bamboo is good just make sure it’s the wooden bamboo not the plastic looking bamboo, as this contains melamine which leaches chemicals into food

Stainless steel is what we go for now

I got silicone originally and was gutted when I realised that everything on the plate would start to taste like soap, couldn’t get rid of it. We bought bamboo and it’s so much better! Wish we’d gotten bamboo to begin with x

@Beth use unscented soap
