I’m not sure on exact number but definitely Over 20 words not counting animal sounds
Roughly 50 words. He’s definitely ahead for his age though our ped was saying.
Mine aren't saying any words , just screaming and random sounds idk if that'd normal tho since they are twins and Born premature
About 15-20 that he can say well rest is just trying to say words or saying it well once but not repeating it
My daughter only says momma, Dada, bubba and it sounded like she said hey a few times 🥺
Dada 1000000x a day 😂
@Jorgina Andrea 50 words! That’s amazing. Is there something specific you use to help your kiddo learn?
My girl twin says 20ish (mama, papa, hi, bye bye, wow, wa(t)er, go, up, down, thank you, nose, head, uh oh, poopoo, more, meow, puppy, rawr, eieio, eggy, kitty, etc.) my son says 5-8 words (mama, bye bye, uh oh, go, more, yum yum, nose…) I ve been worried my son might be falling behind a little.
My daughter’s fav word is hi 🤣 she can say uh-oh, and UP when she stands up! She tries to say other words like peekaboo and will cover her eyes ahha! Its so adorable watching them learn new things!!
Regularly, maybe 2 or 3 atm. Sometimes only one. She signs a few words though.
Dada (1000 times a day), bye (with a wave), understands love you and blows a kiss, dog, cat, baba (for his milk), understands no and shakes head hasn’t said the word yet though, understands yeah and shakes head but hasn’t said it. Knows what eat and more is but hasn’t said it. Says mama sometimes lol. He just turned 15 months though so if he’s not saying more by 18 months then I’d be a little concerned, but I can’t believe how advanced some of the commenters babies are already! Good job!👏🏻
My son is 14 months and doesn’t say much. Maybe 4/5 words. And he doesnt say it with meaning, he only repeats. I am definitely nervous about speech, but I can tell he understands everything. My friend is a speech therapist and told me not to worry yet as boys tend to speak later and we are trilingual household so speech might come a little later. But of course I am still worried. I will bring it up at our 15 month appointment
@Sarah we don’t do any screen time and read like 5 books a day. I follow speech therapist on instagram and they talk about how to read books in a way that’s very interactive and using voice inflection. I repeat words frequently and everything that I do in my daily live i narrate. For example, “we’re going to the store, let’s get into the car so we can go to the store! Let momma buckle you into your car seat. Snap! Here goes the buckle! Okay! We’re headed to the store!” I feel like it sounds ridiculous but I really feel like that’s helped us. I started talking to him really early on though and people would look at me weird but I would talk to him like he was a grown adult lol and not really use baby talk. I want to add though my son didn’t start walking until 14 months which I know it’s common for babies to either pick up on Motor skills or walking first! For some reason his language took off like crazy!
@Nikola I’ve heard when using multiple languages it can take them longer to start speaking but it’s SOOOO beneficial!

My son has said a ton of words only a couple of times, but says maybe 10 regularly. No, yes, kitty, daisy, dog, dad, mom, hi, auntie, papa, baby, are regulars He takes wipes and goes clean clean clean (sounds bit more like mean mean mean 😂) He has said these a few times, bite, up, night night, bye bye, trick or treat (sounded like teet teet lol) , jenna, and more that's just off the top of my head He just won't say these regularly.
About 35 or so. She knows 5 ASL words and uses them in the right context. Peds. Said she’s really advanced. She’s hit all her of her milestones up to 2 1/12.
My son says mama, dada, kitty, thank you, bye - bye, hi, and go
