I'm a single FTM and life is a nightmare rn. I donno how to make money I have a lot of trauma, very smart but burn out easily. I just dk how to rebuild my life and trying to unlearn a ton of codependent crap and victim mentality crap. It's generations of it and I've healed a ton but still not getting by financially
How do you ask God for money because my prayers haven't been working much lol. I ask and he says my payment for motherhood is my toddler opening up my heart but c'mon, I don't think God wants me to be poor!!!! Just need some help with getting the right mindset because I don't understand why I keep struggling

Learn more about our guidelines.First off, my prayers to you so that you can get in a better place🙏🏼 but I do wanna make sure that we all remember God is not a genie where he delivers us everything exactly as we ask it. My best advice is to ask in prayer for a way to rebuild your life and for a way to provide a better financial stability instead of directly asking to not be poor or to be blessed with money. Speak to Jesus in how you are trying your best to heal, grow and rebuild and become the provider your children need and to allow God to guide you in the way he wants so that you can find that better outcome. We work on Gods time not the other way around!!! He will bless those who show are genuine in healing and are open to loving and accepting him, and not just in a time of crisis. I hope truly things get better for you but you have to open your heart and soul to him to fully feel the power of his divinity and strength. God has helped me so so much during my pregnancy when I didn’t believe I was heard
@Selina YES HE IS A GENIE LOL
@Selina I once prayed a prayer someone suggested about finding a job and it went something like "dear god please bring me the perfect job with the perfect pay where I'm doing the perfect tasks/doing what I love" or something like that ... Then God answers me saying you're a mother. The perfect pay is Love
And I'm like great I get it spiritually but I also think it's bullshit because I'm sure God doesn't want me to be without actual physical money. I can't be fking poor my whole life and never know what it feels like to have more than $3000 in my bank account. I haven't had that for years. My son will suffer because of me
@Selina like I have more intelligence than the average person who makes 6 figures like what do they have that dont? I don't understand!!! No one taught me about earning income and financial independence. I have huge trauma with all that
@Selina I love this btw I'm just hurting real bad especially xmas coming up and I'm always struggling
Curious on how you even hear God?
I’m sorry you feel that way. I can’t really say I ever know what it feels like to have more than that my bank account at once but I’ve never felt like that makes me “fkn poor”. If you are still managing a roof over your head, food in your fridge and clothes on your back, you’re truly not poor. There are a lot of other people in more unfortunate circumstances that have neither of these and that’s where we should pray that we are grateful to have what we do when life CAN be worse. I’m sure your son will suffer or feels that he is suffering because you can’t get him every toy in the store or whatever he asks for at the drop of a dime. Children do not think of finance like we do as adults and if you are a continuous loving mother and spending time with him in absence of what money could do to fill in, he will not feel like he’s missing out. To have money don’t mean our lives will automatically be better, much less if you treat it as if that’s the resolve to everything.
@Selina 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹 ty mama I love this
@Jenna oooh great topic!!
It’s just food for thought to be thankful you aren’t in a worse position with nothing at all. God wants all of us to succeed, but it is a give to get and all he asks from his children is open heart and devotion and with time he’ll find ways to help you as well. Have faith!!! Keep it strong he will bring good fortune!! Just be positive and believe in time things will work out!!! And stay consistent in prayer!!
@Jenna may I ask if God or goddess has ever spoke to you?
It's different for everyone can be inside or outside
For me it's like a flash of complete clarity and a voice I hear. Other times it's symbols all around me assuring me that I'm being seen and heard
@Jenna God speaks to everyone differently, some through dreams, some through symbols, some through actual consciousness voice. God speaks to everyone in the way he feels his message can be delivered and heard! I have always been a follower since young and I had the actual Holy Spirit touch me and made me FEEL him in me. However for a recent experience, before I was pregnant I was on the edge of Sui** and in the time of when I went to do this, I heard an inner voice calling to me to stop, and I would try again and the voice would call again to me. Telling me to not give in to the dark, that good things were coming to me. Only a month later is when I ended up pregnant and now I’m having my first child, something that’s changed my whole life
@Selina goosebumps. I know the feeling of being touched by the spirit. I would just like another dose of that LMAO
Thank you for sharing your experiences. I don't think a god or goddess has ever spoken to me. I guess I don't necessarily know what it feels like to be touched by the spirit either.
@Jenna do you want to be? It sounds like you're curious. I remember when I was ready and needed something greater a friend answered all my god questions lol in fact he immediately just asked me if I ever watched the movie Contact and it stuck. That was the mark of the beginning of my spiritual journey to seek God. And by you asking and being a part of this thread has helped me remember how to find my way back
My advice would be to read the Bible. And before you do, pray for understanding. In your prayer thank God for all he’s already blessed you with and then speak your heart to God and ask for what you are seeking.
There is no such thing as a “Goddess” Jesus Christ is Lord period and ignicito are you saved? This is the first question. Secondly, who are you praying to…
God is most definitely not a genie but there are things to be thankful for. God will not increase us until he sees we steward the little that he has given us well.
He also won’t increase us if we are complaining we need to learn to have gratitude be thankful for things in life. I am not trying to take away from your situation but I do believe you have to examine your heart…
@Jenna we hear God because he speaks to our spirit. When you hear a voice telling you you’re ugly it’s the devil. When you hear a voice tell you to give to the poor it’s the voice of God. Everyday we are sorrrounded by voices that we think it’s our own. The bible says God speaks to our spirit because we are spirits in flesh body x
@Louisa What if you don't really hear voices at all?
@Jenna Louisa brings a good point but to circle back, that is why God speaks to everyone differently! Either he is giving you a different signal of reaching out to you or (in a lot of situation) you have not fully opened yourself to Him and are not aware/listening/seeing his presence because you(you generalized) are still sucked into the worldly things around. Time into your heart, tune into your soul, tune into him and maybe suddenly you’ll see things that you once did not see, hear things you did not hear before. It could be the smallest of things that you once didn’t realize before was Gods doing🩷🙏🏼 Truly God Bless you and let his spirit touch your heart
Well I don’t know ,,I actually have things I am doing that works for me
I would also love to share it with you if you don’t mind
You are powerful in addressing all the cycles you want to break!
Part of gaining more money is positioning and prep.
Part of receiving is believing, being specific and being worthy of an opportunity. Being truly open. Giving with a pure heart.
Long term getting a job that allows you to do 1 day adhoc at a good day rate so you don’t have to work regularly and can avoid burn out.
