Heads all over the place

My mind is just frazzled with thus, I'm so confused. I had sex 3rd Nov, and then started what I thought was a period on 14th Nov, but was lighter than usual and had spotting for a total of 12 days (really unusual). I don't remember any heavy bleeding or clots but I was unwell and distracted so not certain. Fast forward this week, I felt weird and sick... and have had a positive test. How long does hcg stick around for? Is there any chance I could still be pregnant?

I think you could still be pregnant, many people bleed while pregnant! You should definitely see a doctor though or maybe the epu at your hospital x

@Courtney Davis are you in the uk? I'm not sure how I see the epu, do I go through A&E?

Yes girl! I phoned 111, they got me a phone call with my doctor which normally refer you within 2-3 days but he rang the epu himself and got me an appointment same day then called me back with a time. Just ring 111 say you’ve been bleeding and you’ve had a positive test and hopefully they’ll be able to get you an appointment! You should definitely be seen x

My GP has no doctors available :( they advised A&E which seems a bit extreme. I just hate this uncertainty

Ring 111! Your doctors will have spaces blocked off for these types of reasons. 111 are so nice too and will try do anything for you x

If you’re pregnant and still bleeding though you need to be seen asap really so if you need to, go for it. You should be seen pretty quickly as it’s bleeding x

So update! 111 told me to go to my GP, GP tells me noone is available. So I rang maternity triage and they've booked me in for a scan next week

Thank you for the comments, I'd have just given up otherwise x

I’m glad!! Sounds like you do need it!! Good luck and keep us updated
