@Sammy I’m wondering if it’s from the check. It’s just weird it’s a little over 48 hours later. My exam was 9am Wednesday. I actually don’t want to deliver until December lol but the exam made me anxious 😬
@A’Lona I think there’s a high probability it’s from your check, I know after my last one they said if I see any light bleeding, that’s why. I wouldn’t be too concerned if it’s not enough to show in your underwear but if you’re feeling really anxious about it, give your DR office a call! You have enough to stress about with delivery so close, if getting confirmation from your DR would bring you peace of mind then go that route 😊
I had my cervical check the day before Thanksgiving (also 39 weeks) and when I got home I noticed light blood as well. It went a way after a hour or two so more than likely it was from the cervical check.
@Taylor my check was the day before thanksgiving too but I started bleeding today and I still am. Only when I wipe though. It’s so weird
I'm 38 weeks and I've had cramping and contractions but no dilation and I've lost a little bit of my mucus plug but feel tons of pressure. No bleeding though 😬 I feel like it's almost time 😭
Most likely from cervical check
The blood is likely from the cervical check, as long as there’s not a lot, I wouldn’t be too worried about it, if it gets worse call your DR. I’m in the same boat with the waiting game though, no contractions, just some light cramping and baby feels pretty heavy at this point. Baby might just be taking their time to get here, I wouldn’t worry too much about it!
