Would you separate your spouse if you are not happy in the relationship for a bad character, rough with you? And overalls you just feel sad?
I recently told my husband I want to separate, we have been married 9 years - he has good qualities however he also has a bad character, too rough with me and the kids, he always complains and makes me feel weird sometimes,
My heart is cold towards him, but I think there is still a spark there.
We have already tried therapy.
He said he still loves me and he is trying or tried.

Too rough as in violent? If so then I’d seperate immediately
I agree that if rough means violent, then yes, leave. But personally, if i truly wanted to try and make it work, I would date my husband in that he and I would have to make the effort to date each other like how we did before having kids and go from there. See how you feel and continue to feel day by day. Maybe do it for like a month or 2 and see if there are any changes in how you feel towards him and then make a decision.
