Disability leave

So my leave started on the 6th and that’s when I applied but I didn’t get paid from the 6th-13th but I received my card and everything in the mail today and I tried to activate my card and the money network app would not allow me to do it so I called them and talked to a representative and apparently my account was compromised and now they have to issue me a check with my pay from the 13th-21st and close my account. Edd will be sending me a new card with a new account. But I’m so frustrated because now that’s an extra 10-14 business days until I get that payment on top of whenever I’ll get my new card. Has anyone else had this happen? Do I need to call and do anything, I didn’t even activate my card or account so I’m not understanding how it was compromised if it wasn’t even activated to begin with. 😭 I had a full on panic attack because I have bills that need to be paid and can’t even do that because of this issue, I may lose everything if this issue keeps happening. 😭💔
