How the heck are people dealing with naps š my oldest is 16 months and still needs cuddling and feeding to fall asleep and the newborn cries within minutes of being put down and I have no idea how to do the two š„“
Iāve tried sofa naps with them both but he just gets fussy and keeps latching on and off for milk rather than settling to go to sleep
My toddler is also 16 months. I put her in her crib in a livhtly dimmed room with her bottle and leave. Sheāll fall asleep if sheās really tired if not Iāll take her out and skip the nap and have an early bedtime around 8. She only needs one nap. My baby is almost 2 months and sleeps really well thankfully but I usually put her in her side or stomach and watch her carefully and she sleeps longer that way. About 2-3 hours. I also use a pacifier. I used one with my first and she stopped at 6 months so Iām not too worried about weaning her off it.
Following because, about to be here in a month but Iāll have an 18 month old with the newbornā¦
Mister man does okay with naps atmā¦..buuuuut, Iām sure itāll be an adjustment when baby sissy comes š
