Epidural?birth story
I had my lil on 2 weeks ago and the epidural they gave me was rising to high so they had to take it out and do it again and after birth I had a spinal fluid leak witch got them do to a epidural blood blood patch.now I'm afraid to even have a vaginally birth in the future and then my stitches came undone

that sounds so scary! i’m sorry that happened. try not to worry about future births right now, who knows maybe next time you won’t want an epidural 🤷🏽♀️ wishing you the best with your healing
I had the same thing two weeks ago today but they wouldn’t do the epidural a second time so I went unmedicated. Then they messed up the blood patch and injected the blood into my back and muscles which caused even worse pain. Luckily I had a third doctor perform an actual blood patch and got me off bed rest and discharged after 3 days. But I have debated on getting a c-section if I get pregnant again so I understand your worries!!

Oh Leah That really sucks! I am sorry you had such a bad experience but that’s one of the risks with an epidural. For all the many many good ones there’s one that didn’t go to plan. Every procedure is different and you’d need to speak to an anaesthetist to explain to you what the chance of history repeating itself really is but personally I wouldn’t worry too much. Also, having a second baby is a totally different ball game. You might have them before you even say “epidural” 😉
