Hobbies

What hobbies do you enjoy? Im going to be hitting the age 30 next year with 2 kids between the ages 2-4. I have no hobbies and need one that doesn’t involve going out as transportation is not an option.

I have both home and out hobbies. At home I do skin hair makeup. So I’ll do facials, face masks I’ll cut and dye my hair, and I do My nails which I find therapeutic. I’ll lift my eyelashes. I cook, bake and garden. I read. I know you said you can’t go out but my outside hobbies are salsa dancing, and I go to expos and festivals w the partner and sometimes w friends. I like checking out different bars and restaurants for date night. When I’m not doing any of them and have some downtime I’m watching tutorials on my phone to learn more about them.

Books, crochet, painting and drawing, sewing, walk and photography

Gardening Sewing Crocheting Reading Soap making Baking Don’t get to do them much now

I used to do lots. Then that dropped drastically when I became a teacher and had no time. Then I became a mum and donated it all to charity. The only craft I kept was pyrography as it’s small. I also see gardening as a necessary hobby. It’s something that needs doing but I enjoy the creativity and the quiet.

TikTok is my hobby 🤣

crochet, art, hiking, yoga

I recently started reading again and I realized how much I missed it. I also love to bake

Reading and baking at home, gym and hiking/ walking outside It’s convenient cause I have one for myself and one where I can include the kids

I’m 33 and my hobbies are: Reading a lot, gaming, crafting, yoga, visiting museums/libraries, walking.

My hobby is browsing about different hobbies and using Pinterest and never following through with any of my ideas 🫠🫠

@Sarah What kind of gaming?👀🙃

Video games, mainly Xbox now when my husband is working late and my toddlers in bed. That’s my time 😂

For the people who read, what books or genre of books do you read. I want to get into reading but I don’t know what to read.

@Rose what interests you in life? Do you like fiction and things like fantasy, or learning new things and real life things? I read a 50/50 mix of fiction and non fiction 😊

@Sarah I also game when time is available. I use my husbands ps4 and play Apex

@Rose I love Jodi Piccoults’ books they are relatable and even though fiction, but based on a story that needs researching and experts to get her content right, I’ve read so many of her books. About life, motherhood, parenting, kids, betrayal, family, court issues etc just such a huge eye opener. Of course you can start with “my sisters keeper” which you might know a movie was made out of it but the book was first and the book is always SO much better w more detail. The storyteller. House rules. The pact. Handle w care. Perfect match. All amazingly good by her and I get so absorbed. I borrow from the library but you can buy them as ebooks if that’s more convenient. She’s got a couple new ones out I haven’t read yet (those are old the ones I mentioned) so I’m keen on getting some new ones. Fiction, but also contains so much info and world life knowledge that is actually helpful in my everyday life. I read SMUT too 😂🙈
