I had really bad morning sickness and food aversions in the beginning. I was also triggered by smells. Drinking sparkling water to settle my stomach and eating small frequent meals (mainly carbs) helped me to get through the 1st trimester. Things eventually got much better, and I started to feel somewhat normal around week 13. Hopefully things will also improve for you very soon 🙏🏾
@Angelina I have been prescribed two different anti sickness tablets but they aren't helping at all
Which tablets have they prescribed you? I tried a few before finding Cyclizine worked the best for me! It does take a few days to have any effect though x
i’m sorry, i just ordered something called nausea sweets from the brand pink stork of amazon i’ve heard they help, when i try them i’ll see if they are good and let you know
@Angelina thank you so much x
Also not enjoying
Yes I was like this at 6-8 weeks which was my worst weeks (currently 10), I was so depressed. I’m on xonvea & omeprazole, because all the other medication didn’t help. There’s only one more medicine for me to try which I think someone has said it already which is zofran (but in the UK it’s called ondansetron, and not given out until past 12 weeks). If you haven’t, reach out to pregnancy sickness support charity, they helped me and I have free counselling with them because i genuinely didn’t know how to continue.
have you asked your doctor about prescribing you Zofran?
