Water

Silly question - but curious…what water do you give to your baby? I’m not convinced that tap water is good, although people do say that water quality in the UK is good enough to give to a baby. I know that mineral water is definitely not appropriate due to its sodium content. Do you have a filter on your tap or you order bottled drinking water? We’re planning to start giving water to our baby soon so I’d aporeciate your thoughts. Thanks

How old is your little one?

6 months next week

We filter it with zero water filter, boil and let her have cooled water

UK is in the top ten best quality water supply in the world. With that said, you should be giving your baby cooled, boiled water.

You only have to boil tap water if you’re giving it under 6 months. We just use tap water.

Boiled tap water

Just tap water for our little one

I’ve never given mine tap water. I used cool boiled until she was 1, now bottled water. Tbf I don’t drink tap either tho.

I’m the same as @Lilly I don’t drink tap water myself so not giving it to my boy. He has cool boiled that comes from a filter jug and then when he is 1 I will give from the filter jug without boiling.

Thank you all. Much appreciated.

Either bottled or boiled tap water for my almost 8 month old

@Elena just curious the water in the filter jug is that tap water?
