Im having a frozen transfer in January and my clinic told me that I would have to take PIO until im 8 weeks pregnant which is around they time they graduate women from the clinic. I would contact the clinic with your concerns and see what they say. They may graduate you at 8 weeks as well or may have a specific protocol for you like if they graduate you at 7 weeks, maybe you'll be informed to keep taking it until week 8.
I have an appointment with them next week, I’m just wondering why some people stop at 8 vs 12 weeks and how do they know since I would be discharged by then and therefore not going any tests
Its based off what the clinics protocol is. My clinic only does it til 8 weeks but im pretty sure your clinic can explain more in depth when you voice your concern or curiousity about it to them.
I had a medicated FET and my clinic graduated me at 8 weeks but I had to continue PIO until I hit 10 weeks! As people said, it really seems to depend on the clinics individual protocol.
