Too much sleep?

I wondered how long your babies are sleeping for at night? I breastfeed my twins but dream feed them with formula around midnight and they have been sleeping until 6am, having another feed and going straight back to sleep (90% of the time) for the past week or so. Last night I did a later feed at 1am and they woke me up at 8:45 👀 I hadn’t thought of setting an alarm. They are 7 weeks old and way above their birth weight, they’ve over doubled it but should I be waking them? Pic of the dreamers ☺️

As long as they are getting their feeds in and the ounces then enjoy the sleep! My little girl is nearly 6 weeks and doesn’t wake until 7-8am and has her last feed around 10-11pm x

They are so cute!!! Formula keeps babies fuller for longer so wouldn’t worry about it. Sounds like their weight is good, well done for breastfeeding them, must be hard with two of them!! 🤱❤️

Mine sleeps from around 10pm till 7am now. I don’t wake her. No need unless they are losing weight etc

My girl is 4.5 weeks old and he sleeps 11.30am till around 7.30am, and then has a feed and sleeps in till 10ish. She’s breastfed. As long as they’re above birthweight it’s fine to let them sleep x Enjoy the sleep 💗

Formula is what does it! Heavier on their stomachs so they're fuller longer! Wouldn't worry too much if their weight is good. My midwife actually recommended it to me so I'd get more sleep when I was struggling with my MH in the first couple of weeks. Mine is 6 weeks and EBF.

My twins are 8 weeks old, and they slept through the night for the first night (10.30-7.15) I was shocked 🤣 they didn’t last night though so who knows what will happen tonight but I’ve never been worried about letting a baby sleep! My 2 year old slept their consistently from 9 weeks x

Thanks for all the comments. I woke them last night after 6 annoyingly before I read all the responses 😅 and it was difficult to get them to drink anyway. I’ll take the sleep going forward - let’s hope it lasts! X
