Excessive peeing

My LG is 2 in a couple of weeks and since yesterday she’s had excessive amounts of pee. To the point she leaked twice yesterday, one of which she was leaning over me and the pee actually came through her nappy, out her leggings and onto me and the couch. Today she’s leaked twice also and every nappy has been mega full even after an hour. She drinks a lot anyways, always has done. I mentioned this to the health visitor before and she shrugged it off. I’m concerned that it’s either a UTI or potentially diabetes. Has anyone had anything similar? I’m going to take her to doctors on Monday as she’s not showing signs of distress at all but just wanted to see if anyone had something similar.

My LG has always drunk a lot, I mentioned it to one health visitor, it got shrugged off. We moved areas and I mentioned it to another and she asked us to be seen by the GP. We then got sent for blood tests and are now awaiting the results!

@Chermaine oh fingers crossed you get some answers 🤞🏼 my HV is pretty useless. I messaged her back in May about something and asked for a call to discuss, still have t heard back from her 🙃😂 lucky I sorted things myself!

@Samantha not very helpful 🙈 my new one has been amazing and has called twice to follow up on it as well, which is nice! Hope you can get her seen just to rule anything medical out (we have been told they think it’s just excessive habitual drinking but they want to be certain)!

@Chermaine that’s amazing! We moved when she was like 8 months and the HV we had before was great, very interested and just seemed like she liked her job! We’re moving back to that area next year as I’m pregnant so waiting till he’s here so hoping we get the same one 🤞🏼 hopefully that is all it is, good they’re actual checking for you now!
