Blood thinners

So I’m currently on blood thinning injections but it’s my birthday and my friend has brought me an edible (in cake form for those wondering 🎂).
Can I safely consume this or will it have an affect alongside the blood thinners? I’ve had an operation on my ankle and had screws and plates put in. I’m currently 8 days post op and I want to be as careful as possible. Some have said edibles are safe after surgery. But I’m more concerned about the affect it could have alongside the injections.

I did try doing a bit of googling but there wasn’t really much evidence on it. One website just repeated the same thing about 3 times in different ways. Like when a teacher says ‘don’t copy it from the website, put it on your own words’. So I didn’t trust that site 😂😂😂
so far I’m okay! 😂😂
