Not eating

Anyone else’s LO just not eating? Swear this guy will eat two bites of random things all day and survive on that and milk. Any advice on how to get him to eat more?

My little guy has been the same way! Haven’t found a way to get him to eat more though 🥲

My son as well. Just fruit all day

i feel like predictability has been good for us. we start the day with protein every single day and give her similar foods for breakfast and lunch every day so she knows what to expect. every morning pretty much is egg, toast, and fruit. for lunch she’ll get a cheese stick, crackers/cheerios, and fruit. for snack she’ll get yogurt, fruit and cheerios/crackers whichever one she didn’t eat for lunch. we’ve had pretty much no issues with getting her to eat anything but dinner (the one that changes) unless she’s actually just not hungry that day.

Ok hear me out on this I recently saw something about kids following their circadian rhythms when it comes to eating and the best time to feed them a big meal is around 2pm. I've concerned changing our schedule to 2pm just because I've noticed that at 2pm snack my kids seem to be insatiable. So I'm gonna try this on days my kids have daycare because they aren't napping at that time

Yes my lil girl I been trying to figure it out why

Mine usually are great eaters but tonight was a challenge. Hoping we aren’t turning a negative corner!

I was told that toddlers may start to eat less at this age because they are not going through a growth spurt now and don't need as many calories. Our pediatrician told us that we may see him eat less and it is expected as long as he is still having wet diapers and bowel movements

Ty for all Your replies mommas!

We went through it and clocked on to breakfast was the only meal he would demolish all day so started giving him a very hearty filling breakfast and then no lunch and then a light dinner it lasted two weeks and he's now 100% back to normal. They suddenly develop a lot at 18 months with emotional understanding etc so they go through it bless their little hearts

Yessd but still has the craziest amount of energy ever
