Fussy / crying when out

Hey! Is anyone else finding their baby extremely upset when out and about? I’m struggling to take him places (lunch with friends etc) without him becoming so unhappy but when we are at home he’s a completely different baby! Help please, hoping it’s a phase / getting used to different environments but it’s making me nervous to leave the house

My LO is the opposite atm so fussy at home, nothing entertains her for more than 5 minutes x

Yeah my LO has been like this for the last 2 weeks. Normally she was fantastic out but now she is screaming, being fussy on the boob and difficult settling her. I actually had one woman in a coffee shop giving me a dirty look. She seems to be OK if I keep her entertained or stand up and rock her to sleep which I had to do in the restaurant. Thankfully she went to sleep but woke up towards the end of the meal and started screaming again. It's putting me off going out too. 😭

I don't know but usually my baby is happy to just chill but recently she seems to get very bored/agitated if I dare stop for coffee 😅🙈 x

I think the reason is in your post. Calm mama calm baby. Can you maybe try some techniques so you would be very content and calm when out and see how that changes LO response?

I have the same it just depends on the day with her it’s quite anxiety inducing… exposure therapy helps hahaha just go and both of you will get used to it eventually
