I think I’m having a chemical pregnancy/early miscarriage 😢
I’m 5 weeks and 1 day today and my tests haven’t progressed much. Today I’ve started bleeding. Any advice from this point would be much appreciated? Do I need to do anything? Do I need to wait to start trying again?

I'm really sorry to hear this. I have been in this situation and it was tough. In my case I went and saw the doctors just to check it was the case. They did a blood test + urine test and a scan just to be sure. The gyno said it best to wait one period before trying again just to restore the lining fully if you can. If you are feeling worried it's best to just have a check up.

I'm so sorry xx I let my GP know for any future problems. You can take some paracetamol if the pain gets bad. It's all down to you, how you are feeling about trying again. I had a very light period when I had my chemicals. we chose to wait one period, which was heavy and horrible pain. We are still waiting for our rainbow. Some people didn't wait for their period and managed to get pregnant straight away xx Just all down to how you feeling about everything xx
